Starting Situation

When we started working with OAK25 almost 6 months ago, Jacob, Emil, and their team created the creatives in-house and managed the campaigns independently. The tested communication angles primarily aimed to prominently feature the two founders and briefly pitch the offer.

Approach

We wanted to take the exciting approach that was already in place to the next level. The cool image of the young founders with their startup flair needed to be rethought and expanded upon. Our idea: to use in-depth storytelling to tell the story(ies) behind OAK25 and its various products, and to emotionally engage the target audience. Last but not least, we challenged the frontend offer and considered which products could be more prominently featured to increase sales.

Result

Thanks to our more emotional communication strategy, we succeeded in tapping into entirely new target groups. We focused on the children's backpack, thereby drawing the attention of many parents to OAK25 who had no previous contact with the brand. We saw an enormous rush to the shop during Black Friday and throughout Q4, and we also started the new year in Q1 stronger than ever before. Our ads even went viral, with almost 8,000 likes and over 2,000 shares on a single ad.
